Scholarships at Padua
Padua participates in the Cooperative Scholarship Testing Program (CSTP.), an annual testing program for scholarships for independent schools throughout Australia. The exams used for these scholarship selections are written by the ACER. (Australian Council for Educational Research) in Melbourne. The ACER supplies these tests to the schools (like Padua) which participate in the program. The schools administer the tests on the set date (Saturday, 23 February 2013) and send the papers back to ACER for marking and analysis. ACER then reports to each school on the performance of the candidates who applied for a scholarship at that school. The school then selects the candidates to whom the scholarships will be offered at that school.
Scholarships are offered for Years 8-10 and Years 11 and 12 only.

The successful students, two in each category, Years 8-10 or Years 11-12, will then be awarded a tuition-free scholarship. The tuition-free scholarship does not include levies (Activity Levy, Primary School Levy, Primary Computer Levy, General Purpose Levy). Payment of these levies is compulsory for all students.
For more information please contact the College Enrolment Secretary to have the Candidate’s Information Bulletin sent to you.
